Welcome to SEBM | Integrating Science and Medicine

How Can We Help You Succeed?

We are a non-profit scientific society that promotes investigation in the biomedical sciences, enables career success of our members and fosters the career development of students, physician-scientists and new investigators. We accomplish this goal through publication of a peer-reviewed Journal, Experimental Biology and Medicine and cultivating a broad range of international social and research-centered events throughout the year.

Are you looking for career guidance?  Want to give back to your community of colleagues by engaging in SEBM Outreach events? Get Involved!

Activate your subscription to 100 years of articles from Experimental Biology and Medicine, the SEBM journal. Founded in 1903, the journal archives are all available to members and subscribers and are under the protection of LOCKSS and Portico.

Articles represent cutting edge research as the overlapping junctions of the biological, physical and engineering sciences that impact on the health and welfare of the world's population.

President's Address

David Boothman
I am so excited to start my work for the Society for Experimental and Biological Medicine (SEBM).   I am very honored to be elected to offer my serves to SEBM as president.  I have been a member of the society since the early 2000s and have watched this society grow and increase its dedication to science and particularly to new members.   I believe that its service to the needs of its members, new and old, is extremely important. Over the past three years I was the FASEB representative for SEBM in that larger society and I assure you SEBM’s voice was heard during these FASEB organizational meeting. Over the next year we hope to grow the society with additional new members and explore newer areas of scientific research, including metabolism, exosome functions, and roles of RNA biological processes in diseases, to name a few.
